Asixa and its Chief Executive Officer, Simone Turner, have been shortlisted for two national freight industry awards – the Australian Supply Chain and Logistics Awards (ASCL) and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Awards (CILT).
Recognised for two major developments needed to remain at the vanguard of Victoria’s road transport industry: a strong GPS system and real time proof of delivery (POD) notifications, Asixa was announced as a finalist in the Information Management category of the ASCL Awards, to be held in Sydney next month.
Simone Turner’s significant contribution to the industry has also been acknowledged, after being named a finalist in the Young Professional of the Year category of the CILT Awards. The CILT Awards will be held in Brisbane on Saturday the 7th of November.
It is exciting to see Asixa recognised for its longstanding commitment to its people and innovation, and maintaining our position as Victoria’s premier rural and regional distribution specialist in 2016 and beyond.
